The Cottage Lake Kitchen

The Cottage Lake Kitchen was a full kitchen refresh paired with upgraded living room glazing, bringing both comfort and efficiency up to modern standards. The remodel focused on improving everyday function around the main work zones while seven new living room windows introduced more natural light and better insulation, tightening up the envelope without changing the character of the home.

Two custom details became the stars of the project. A toe-kick heat vent was installed beneath the kitchen sink to keep feet warm during dish duty and food prep, making one of the most-used spots in the house noticeably more comfortable. Alongside the refrigerator, a custom-built spice rack—designed and installed by our team—creates a dedicated, organized space for cooking essentials, turning storage into a clean, integrated feature rather than an afterthought.
