The Auxiliary Living Shed

This is a compact, hard-working outbuilding designed to handle the everyday tasks the main house doesn’t need to. Inside, it combines a dedicated laundry area with practical storage space for tools, gear, and seasonal items, keeping everything organized and out of the way while remaining easy to get to.

Above the main level, a ladder-accessed loft creates two small sleeping spots—ideal for kids’ sleepovers or pets that don’t mind the climb. Every square foot is intentional, turning a simple shed into a multi-purpose space that quietly takes care of laundry, storage, and the occasional overnight stay without wasting space or overcomplicating the design.
